Who we are

The Embassy of the Republic of Liberia in Kinshasa is the official diplomatic representation of the Government of Liberia to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). As a vital arm of Liberia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy’s primary mission is to promote and safeguard the interests of the Republic of Liberia, its citizens, and its values within the host country.

The Embassy of the Republic of Liberia in Kinshasa has maintained a longstanding diplomatic presence in the Democratic Republic of Congo, reflecting the historical bonds and shared values between our two nations. Over the years, the Embassy has served as a cornerstone of bilateral cooperation, regional solidarity, and citizen service in Central Africa.

Located in the heart of Kinshasa, the Embassy works to strengthen bilateral relations between Liberia and the DRC by fostering cooperation in the areas of diplomacy, trade, investment, education, public health, and cultural exchange.

Our Core Responsibilities

Representing the President and Government of Liberia in dealings with the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Providing consular services to Liberian citizens residing in or visiting the DRC, including passport issuance, visa applications, and legal assistance.
Facilitating and promoting bilateral agreements, trade missions, and development partnerships between Liberia and the DRC.
Enhancing people-to-people ties through public diplomacy, cultural initiatives, and academic exchange programs.
Offering guidance and support to investors, entrepreneurs, and institutions interested in doing business in Liberia.
